Most, if not all are resold by Tiqets.com, the "Amsterdam-based" tour reseller that you will find all over Google when you search for destination activities. Tiqets, too tight to pay for staff in Europe so their call centre is in India. Enquiries routed to careless Indian operators causes total chaos and nothing works (we have road tested their call centre half a dozen times). If you have ever hired an Indian to code your website or do your SEO, then you'll know what we mean. Your money for your booking just pennies in the big Tiqets bank, complaints summarily ignored.
India aside, Why do Tiqets insist on working with criminal cowboys such as IBT? They are cheap, they offer many departure times, ergo they are profitable. It's not important that IBT has dozens of terrible reviews on Google and elsewhere, because negative reviews about IBT on the Tiqets website are deleted immediately by Tiqets reputation monitors.
Touristation has been around for years, they began life in Rome and have several tour check-in desks there. It comes as no surprise that they partner with IBT in Pompeii, or at least share desk space. IBT Pompeii don't give a **** about tourists. They hire Italian women who speak no English, they are extremely rude, and they leave tourists standing at their "meeting point" (a stupid food stall on Piazza Esedra) so they miss the tour they paid for.
